<\/strong>In Which the Pair Find A Beautiful But Dangerous Cavern.<\/em><\/p>\n

Arrin says: They continue down the tunnel and soon come into a chamber.\u00c2\u00a0 Light shines in from the top and the walls are coated with jewels and gemstones.<\/p>\n

Catamount says: The ferret gasps.\u00c2\u00a0\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s amazing!\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Arrin says: He perks up his ears. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153What do you see?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Catamount says: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Dozens and dozens of gems!\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Arrin says: He grins. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153We took the wrong tunnel then, but oh well. I remember this chamber\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Catamount says: The ferret gazes about in wonder. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153What is this room?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Arrin says: His brow furrows while he thinks. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153This was just dubbed \u00e2\u20ac\u0153The Gem Room.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d\u00c2\u00a0 There\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a deep pond in the middle of it\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6\u00e2\u20ac\u009d The ground beneath Jozra crackles dangerously beneath her.<\/p>\n

Catamount says: The ferret looks sharply at the ground she\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s standing on and eases herself back towards Soquan.<\/p>\n

Arrin says: The ground crackles underneath them both and he curses just grabbing hold of her as they are both immersed in the cold water.<\/p>\n

Catamount says: Jozra yelps at the unexpected cold before being submerged.\u00c2\u00a0 She kicks and claws her way to the surface, close behind the otter.<\/p>\n

Arrin says: He grasps her paw and pulls her up, holding her by the wrist.\u00c2\u00a0 Once they surface, he tries to grasp the edge of the pool, only to have it break under his weight.\u00c2\u00a0 He shivers. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153This isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t good\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Catamount says: The ferret shakes her head furiously, more to get the water out of her eyes and ears than to agree with Soquan.\u00c2\u00a0 \u00e2\u20ac\u0153No, it isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Arrin says: They reach the edge of the pool and he helps her out of the water first before climbing out himself.\u00c2\u00a0 He shivers some more and crouches beside her.\u00c2\u00a0\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Are you okay?\u00c2\u00a0\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 If he was cold, she must be way worse.<\/p>\n

Catamount says: The ferret gasps and strips off her soaked clothes, before shaking as much water out of her fur as possible. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be in a bit\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6\u00e2\u20ac\u009d She shivers.<\/p>\n

Arrin says: He does the same and rummages through the packs they left at the entrance at the cavern for their blankets. He opens his arms towards her. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153C\u00e2\u20ac\u2122mere, come get warm\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Catamount says: Jozra rubs her fur as dry as possible before ducking under one of the blankets and wrapping it about herself.\u00c2\u00a0\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Why\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 Is the ground likely to crack again?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Arrin says: He blows water from his whiskers. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Dirt must of blown on top of the ice, you can\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t see it as well probably. I know it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s safe here.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Catamount says: The ferret shivers a little. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Well, that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s something else to watch out for then.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Arrin says: He nods and moves beside her. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153It is.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d He shivers a little under his blanket but begins to warm up a bit.<\/p>\n

Catamount says: Jozra chuckles a little as the shivering begins to ease. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Well, now I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m very glad I took that shopkeeper up on TWO sets of clothes.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Arrin says: He nods. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Aye.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d He looks towards her. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Are you warm enough?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Catamount says: The ferret nods. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m warming up pretty good.\u00c2\u00a0 It would probably be best to walk around a bit, actually.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Arrin says: He nods and stands, his blanket still wrapped around himself. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153You\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re right.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Catamount says: Jozra soon stands and pulls her dry, extra set of clothes from the pack and puts them on. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Much better.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Arrin says: He dresses in an extra set of clothes also and nudges his wet ones with a paw. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153What do we do with these?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Catamount says: She looks at the pile of soaking clothes for a moment. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Well, there\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s nothing wrong with them really. They\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re just wet. We could need them but carrying around wet clothes would be heavy and they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re not likely to dry in our packs.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Arrin says: He frowns. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153How bout we just carry them in our paws?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Catamount says: The ferret grins. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Yeah, that would solve it.\u00c2\u00a0 Might be a good idea to wring them out first, though.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Arrin says: He nods and begins to wring the water out of his clothes.<\/p>\n

Catamount says: Soon the clothes are merely damp, as opposed to soaked.\u00c2\u00a0 With numb paws, the ferret gathers up her set and folds them into a loose bundle that will be easy to carry.<\/p>\n

Arrin says: He bundles his clothes and waits at the entrance of the cave for her.<\/p>\n

Catamount says: Jozra walks to the cave entrance and pauses. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Ready.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Arrin says: He nods. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Alright let\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s go\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Catamount says: The two leave the beautiful but treacherous cavern and soon the illumination is faint enough that Jozra is once again following Soquan.<\/p>\n
